Time to get your gear together and check it
Get those mouth calls from last year in some mouth wash to clean them and let them soak
Make sure you have plenty of premthrine spray mixed up
Check your Red Dot to make sure the battery is good
Shoot that shotgun to make sure the pattern is where it’s supposed to be
Check out your Thermacell and buy more pads and fuel if needed

Got drawn for the Mississippi NR early public land hunt so I’m headed over there on Monday. Packing my vest and assorted other things today. Never hunted MS before much less public land but I’m just gonna give it a try. Hey, if I bump into some You Tubers you know, “real turkey hunters”, I’ll give them Aldeers’s warmest regards.  I’m right there with you, I got drawn as well. Be hunting hard for two weeks and then a week in Alabama before I head to Alaska on the 11th of April for the season. Check with me Tuesday or Wednesday and I’ll give you a report
