Norwegian
SPDR S&P 500
Vanguard S&P 500

Been buying, maxed out 2024 Roth and started on 2025 Roth. Have about 8-10 more years before I can retire, so hopefully it pays off.

I turn 55 this summer and going to retire. I have lost over 100,000 in the last several weeks. Like Kelly said I do think it will all work out once Trump gets these other countries and tariffs worked out so its fair to everyone. but still sucks now.

This time I’m still sitting on my playing money which isn’t much. Been buying pews pews instead

Our portfolio (mostly American funds since we’re close to retirement) I’m scared to look at right now. Took 5 years to get back what we lost last time and what I had was gone. I’m xtremely gun shy

I took some profit twice on about 7 different stocks in Jan and Feb . I used that $ to buy more Berkshire Hathaway B shares . I'm up on the Berk B shares I just bought about 5-6%. I did buy some KKR shares yesterday. Last couple of weeks have been rough , not a bad time to buy. Now it's wait on all this tariff dust to settle , making the Trump tax cuts permanent and it should take off . That 401k and IRA $ is always pouring in and the big boys are sitting on the sidelines ready to buy if we don't totally tank.

Wrap your heads around this , Berk is sitting on about 335 billion in cash! They did buy a huge chunk of OXY bout a month ago.

I've seen the market drop many many times. It will come back. Trump is causing some hurt right now so we will prosper in the future. Stay the course and don't worry too much about the week to week swings.

I've been buying tech stocks since it hit that huge drop, I don't think it has bottomed out yet, but it is low enough to add some stocks. Yeah, I've lost some money in the past month, I'll gain it and more in 6 months.

CRWD and SMCI have bounced back some from their March 10th lows. Progressive Insurance hasn't missed a beat during this down turn, I've had it about two years. It's one of my super stars .

If you retire on a house built of cards that's not anyone else's fault. We all have been saying it for years. The economy has been propped up by massive Governement spending really since Obama. Trump didn't get responsible in his 1st term either.

Retiring under Biden was a decision that you gotta own. Everyone knew it was sketchy.

Hope this market takes a massive dump. America needs it.

Investing, especially in Mutual Funds is a long term process. Im buying as much as I can right now. Prices are low.

It’s all on sale sale right now . Wish I waiting few week to fund my Roth for this yr . But it’s gonna be good after the fear of tariffs goes away . Have patience.

Speaking of stocks, I think LKNCY Luckin coffee is going to overtake starbucks in the next 4-5 years. I’ve been watching their stock since early last year. Should have bought at 19.00.
Once they come to the U.S., it’s over for Starbucks imo.

With the exception of some "play" money in my 401k, I invested all mine in dividend paying stocks. As long as the check gets written every three months, I no longer care about the stock price.
