Whats the deal with the different sizes? I keep seeing a little difference in diameter. I’m wanting to reload basic 9mm ammo. 124 gr preferably

Any info is appreciated.

Carter .355 is what you need powder wise pretty much any fast burner will make plinking ammo,231 hp38 unique aa2. I prefer Berry's but most any are fine just stay away from .357/.358 and you'll be good

Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Thanks. It’s Berrys I’ve been looking at. The fellow that taught me to reload 30 plus years ago said for me to bring just the bullets, he has everything else and then some. He has 3 Dillon’s setup and I just need to pull the handle cause of his neck issues.

Honestly it doesn’t work financially to load your own from what I’ve figured. Unless yall know of a really cheap source.

He acquired a lot of supplies back in the day along with buckets and buckets of brass
I’ve given him most of what I no longer needed during the years.

Berry's is a plated lead bullet. Lead bullets are usually oversize 0.001-0.002" over jacketed bullets standard size. I've used them before in .40, then found Zero bullets that was just as cheap and true jacketed bullet. Of course that was years ago so no telling what the price is now.

I found some Xtreme bullets that should work. Found some RMR too but couldn’t get those to order
Thanks again. I’ve learned a lot so far with this fiasco

I too used Zero brand back in the day. The factory was less than an hour drive away and you could buy direct. Unfortunately, that was pre-Covid and not exactly sure what their status is. Their website makes one believe they are trying to make a comeback.

Lately I've been using Hornady HAPs, which can be found for a reasonable price. Why their 115 gr are .355 and their 124 gr are .356 is curious as the 124 gr weight bullet category is very popular for a 9mm. All my 9mms prefer .355.

Were the Zero in Cullman? I found those but couldn’t figure out how to order or if you could.

Yeah the distributor was in Cullman, Rose Manufacturing if I recall. I bought the bullets at an Ace Hardware in Homewood I believe that carried some reloading stuff. Again, probably 8 years or so ago.
