Ahhh the mythical Trailboss. Wish they would get it back on the market. I have several bottles of Trailboss. I have been using AA1680 for my subs so far. I hear unique is good for this as well. I have kegs of it so I may try it one day. How loud is the bullet impact on game? Some of the bullets designed for this look like you'd hear a big whop. I have only shot targets so far, but my 165's are louder hitting the target than the noise of the round through the suppressor. I am shooting 3/4" rubber belts with targets stapled to them. The rounds still penetrate the rubber and go into the berm behind it from 100 yards. Not sure how much they expand as I havent dug any out yet. Jason

Jason I’ve done a little with Unique and Red Dot trying to find a good light bullet load. I’ve tried the 90 gr XTP and have done 100 grain soft points to try.

You can buy or make powder coated lead bullets for subs.

You can buy or make powder coated lead bullets for subs. Yes sir, I have some of those already. Unfortunately they are 170gr FP bullets for a 3030. They do work great. Wonder how that coating changes the expansion for a lead bullet? I know its a LOT cheaper than a jacketed bullet but i dont know how well it works with no exposed lead, I doubt it matters at full speed but I wonder about that for subs. Jason

Shot some Nosler 150 gr BT RN test loads with Unique yesterday. Need to do some further testing but I think they'll be OK. Once I get it dialed in I'll probably line some water jugs up and see if I can catch one.
