Very cool.

I’ve been itching to get a sifting table and digging in some areas. I’ve got around 4miles of bluff line that I know they used at some point.

Great stuff in ur area JBatey. Saw an absolutely incredible collection last show that came from ur area. Just built a 4’x8’ screen table myself and have run two front end loader scoops so far. Only two brokes, flakes and pottery but where there are brokes there are whole points.

I have a seated liberty dime and I have no idea where it came from. I either picked it up our it was handed back for change. I think a lot of that old coinage was stolen and dropped over the years.

It be's that way sometimes.

In that condition, maybe a dollar or two more than the weight of the silver. If it were in mint state condition high grade condition maybe some where in the $1,000+ range. Most coins found in the dirt like that one are on the low end of the grading scale and rarely get the high collector money.

what material did you use for the sifting? Expanded metal or something like that?
