Living down here in Lower Bama, I've always hated Summer. Mostly because of the heat. But I've also always hated the insects. Especially flying Insects. Working in my garden today, damn skeeters were tearing me up. Then I went to get my ladder, and the damn wasps had already built a nest. Sumbitch popped me good on my wrist. I finished up, and came inside and popped a cold beer.

Ok, I may have popped one earlier outside.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Yep. With the flood, all the stagnant water has produced a bumper crop of them skeeters. Especially around styx and perdido rivers.

The horde of skeeters is coming ... hopefully the sack of insect killer granules we broadcast in the yard will cut em down, I told my brother don't get near the clover patches with that stuff so it doesn't kill honey bees coming to the clover... The city of Mobile sprays for them skeeters but I'm afraid it kill's honey bees too. we keep anything holds water turned over .

The red wasps were swarming wouldn't hardly let me get into my truck yesterday... they have a nest somewhere on my 4wheeler next to where I park my truck. Going to be fun trying to find exactly where.

I've got two bug zappers, three fly traps going around the clock. Got mosquito pucks in my water features. I used blood meal and bone meal to amend my soil for my garden. Lort the flies that generated was straight out of a demonic horror movie. Finally got them under control. Grasshoppers and other insects showed up for the buffet. The all natural pest control BS gardeners tell you to use is bullshit. I dropped the liquid 7 on them and haven't regretted it one bit. If it kills the bees, when they finally show up, so be it. I can hand pollinate if I need to. That's what I've been doing and I've got a bunch of maters already looking good.

Get one of those bug bombs and sit under the 4 wheeler at night. If there is not too much wind, I bet that will run 'em off.

The skeeters never go away here in SC. Year around bugs.

Those Phuckers are the worst! Luckily, once it gets real hot, (July,August) they taper off.

Those look an awful lot like deer flies, the shape anyway. The azzoles must have mouths that look like mini SandTiger sharks. Very aggressive and to make matters worse, they're faster than my first girlfriend.

I have a water feature in my back yard. I keep some copper pipe pieces in it, skeeters won't grow. Skeeters don't need water to grow, only damp mulch. I got a good lesson when I called mosquito control a problem at my shop.
