This isnt just my opinion…..I go out and talk to hunters all deer season long and I already listen to hunting club members mock the biologists recommendations and plantation owners call the state worthless, etc……A lot of trust has already been lost…..I can only imagine that when all of those folks that told me last season about how their population was way down hear about this latest move back to two does per day that it will only get worse……The irony being that the folks who made this move probably just sped up the erosion of trust…..They had already lost the narrative with many folks before this and they just helped to insure that they will with many more now….. The silver lining may be in the end that all of these people who are fed up with the BS just revolt and stop shooting does and then the doe slayers will be able to use this new 2 per day rule to try and manage the over flow and it’ll all work out just right……I doubt it though……I look for another repeat from the first time we did this.
