I've been taking it (Wegovy, specifically) since September (so right at 6 months). I started at 250 and currently 232 and down a couple of notches on my belt, although the scale hasn't moved since the first week of Dec, I've only maintained. That is mostly my fault, as I haven't been working out at all, but I plan to start that back.

The biggest things I've noticed are:

1. I have ZERO taste for alcohol anymore. I'll still drink a beer here and there, but if I never had another sip I wouldn't miss it. I've got a couple of bottles of decent bourbon that I haven't even cracked the seal on...just not remotely interested.

2. I don't crave "junk food" much anymore. Snack food (chips and stuff like that) used to be a big weakness. Now I can take or leave it, and I can eat just a few without going overboard.

3. I find myself shocked (and kinda grossed out) at how much I used to eat. At most restaurants these days, MrsGomer and I will share a single meal and often still have food left over. In the past, we'd have each gotten our own plate and I would have cleaned mine. I don't know how I ever ate as much as I did and frankly it's a little disgusting and shameful.

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

1. All Politicians Are Liars
2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft
