My brother, our daughters, and myself got it done this morning. His daughter has been practicing with some bird shot out of a 301 410 with a red dot. He has a bog pod they put it in that she can move the dot on the target. This morning all 4 of us slipped in a ground blind 30 minutes before daylight knowing one wasn’t gonna be far. First gobble was at. 6:20 around 250yds away. He was fired up. He flew down around 7 and gobbled on the ground. He answered my fly down and we went silent. I could picture where he was and we waited. He got hot again and at 7:45 we both yelped at him and I did some fighting purrs and he went silent after gobbling again. 15 minutes later he fired off 1 ridge closer. We both grinned at each other. After his a few more gobbles there I cut him off and he gobbled again and went quiet. I told the girls he is on his way and turned off their pad. He hammered again at ~100yds and I soft yelped/purred then scratched the leaves. I was looking hard through the pines for him and saw some tweetie birds start flushing. I told them it’s got to be him. 30sec later I see his head bobbing our way. Once he hit the field edge he blew up spitting and drumming. He strutted all the way up to and around the Jake decoy. She cut him a flip onto his back with some Apex 9.5s. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/xC9QwsQ.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/WjhpGQC.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/A4tnZkr.jpeg)
