Ok so I’ve been toting the ole Lynch World Champion box call for 40 springs and gonna go ahead and put it on the shelf before I break it or lose it. Dad bought it for me when I was a teenager and it has been cause of the demise of many gobblers over that time. I’d be crushed if something happened to it. Want a good box call to replace it. What say Aldeer?

Matt Van Cise makes a great box call and he usually has some available on his website. David Halloran also makes al some really good ones. As far as custom boxes, the best one I’ve ever heard/had was a Scott Witter. He won the NWTF competition a few years back.

It really depends on what you want to spend… huge rabbit hole you can get into

Go on ebay and buy another vintage World Champion AND a Foolproof? That's what I did. Still my first 2 "Go to" calls 9 mornings out of 10.

The lynch calls are very user friendly.

Marlin Watkins and TJ Johnson are the best two building them right now in my opinion. Marlin has several available right now, I spoke with him earlier this week.

Look at Jeff McKamey at Twisting creek calls, world champion maker and a great guy!

Marlin Watkins first, then Matt van Cise. If you do like those just get some of what you have. You get used to running one and that's how it is no matter what.

If you’ve been running the same box call for 40 years, it doesn’t matter what you get you ain’t gonna like it. At first anyways. You just got to commit to one and push through the getting used to it part for the next 2-3 years. Don’t go pick that lynch up during that time. Just keep listening to the new one and you will get used to it. You will find the sweet spots on it eventually.

Or pay 250 to 500 for a great custom, lol.
