Found this today in the middle of town. I wonder what kind of annoying critter got kilt dead with it back in 1968.

Blue jay in a pecan tree, died from it. Or may have been missed. But that is what it was.

I held a 1946 Winchester model 42 .410 today at Walter Craig. OMG. Looks and feels like a model 12 but lighter. $2300. I passed but it was a very sweet gun.

I have an Essex, single shot .410 that my Dad carried when he was 10 in 1932, used it to help feed his family with squirrels and rabbits, priceless.

LOVE my Winchester Model 37 Red-Letter Pigtail .410 and it's 16 and 12 gauge siblings. Looking for a 20 gauge and I'll be done with the 37s. The 28 gauge would be like hitting the lottery and I don't even dream of owning one. Saw one in the original box sell for over $20K a while back.
