I know one thing, if you are not allowed to go into a building, it is wrong to go into a building. Plain and simple. Were they treated fairly after breaching the capital? Absolutely not. Are democrat protestors treated differently after a violent protest? Absolutely and that is not right. But I don’t think acting like them is the right thing to do. Just my opinion. I’m sure most on here will disagree and that’s ok

I have a couple of questions for you. Why weren't the liberals arrested and charged with the same charges when they went in the capital? Why did Trump issue the jan 6 people pardons?

Youre right. Democraps did it too and there wasnt much said about it.

Democrats have done a lot of bad things. That don’t mean that republicans get to do bad things. I want the party that best represents my values to uphold integrity and honesty and follow the laws. I know that is a pipe dream but that doesn’t mean that I can’t stand on those values.

I think we have told you before, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party can nominate whoever they want for president. The nominee does not have to win the primary.

I also am a big Trump supporter and I agree that his administration is the best choice we have as Americans right now. And I think he is a really good choice. Especially on the economy and the border. I don’t always agree with everything he says or does, but I believe he has American’s best interests at heart. I am a hard core conservative. I have conservative values. But I don’t hold the Republican Party in high regard because it is full of politicians.

I didn’t know that liberals went in the capital on Jan 6th. If they did and didn’t get arrested then they should have been. But Trump should be able to prosecute the ones that did now correct?

No intelligent person could make a case for any kind of moral equivalence between Jan. 6 and what happened in the St. Floyd riots. It’s like comparing hemorrhoids to brain cancer. The biggest punishment from the riots was given to a cop who was the victim of bad optics and political cowardice.

You are right about that. It isn’t hard. But each person is responsible for their own actions. Just because someone talks you into something illegal doesn’t make it ok.

I probably don’t know about it because it was covered up by the dens. But I still don’t understand what the question has to do with what we are talking about. Just because someone else does something wrong and gets away with it doesn’t mean that I can do something and get away with it.

Not giving anyone a pass, but the ones doing the direct agitation and especially the ones at the top that financed and pushed out should be held to a higher culpability.

No different than the Summer of Love agitators and now the Tesla terrorist

Agreed.
However, without equitable application of the law (across all spectrums), do we have actual law?

Geeb, I don’t think that an unequal application of the law means we have no law at all. It just means that the people applying it are wrong.

Take speeding for an example. Sometimes cops let speeders go. They don’t even pull them over. Sometimes they write them tickets. That doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t follow the speed limits. Of course, I speed. Especially on the interstate where I mostly travel.

It absolutely does when there is a clear delineation of whom gets to walk and whom doesn't.
Selective enforcement is completely counter to a just judicial system.

There was definitely some Antifa there on jan6. I seen proof before jan6 that they planned on showing up. It first showed up in a direct action call they put out. A little later there was chatter about them planning on donning trump gear. The day of, I seen vids posted of them changing into trump gear. I recognized some of them from watching riot footage daily from the previous year. Afterwards I seen photos of lefties at jan6.

The Republican Q bs played a big part in pushing the insurrection narrative as well. It was just explained differently.

They laid a trap and were lucky it wasn't worse. They expected it to be worse. They went with their narrative anyways, that's why it looked stupid.

Deep state hard at work? It would sure appear the folks benifitting from all the $$$ going to these NGOs are the same folks who benefitted from jan 6. Its certainly all connected and not too hard to figure out. And im jyst a tree climber. I would bet if you figure out where the buck stops and trace it back, itll be the same folks involved in all of it.

Well if that’s the case, Trump didn’t see that evidence of it. Because it would have been a lot easier for him to show that evidence publicly and leave them locked up instead of pardoning them.

Since theres some disagreement about the issue. I wasnt there, but here is someone who actually was, with video proof, and what she experienced. Debunk it Dryfire

What is there to debunk? She broke the law, was arrested, plead guilty to a misdemeanor, sentenced to 60 days in prison followed with 12 months supervised release, and paid a $9500 fine. She admits all this in the Peterson podcast.

I have resigned myself to the belief that there are people in this world that choose not to believe the truth, even when it is staring them in the face.

You are not innocent until proven guilty here, you are guilty and must prove your innocence.

She says on Jan 10 she gave a scheduled speech and didn't even mention Jan 6. because it wasn't a big deal to her. ummm...sure.

She didn't know who was putting on the speech display because her 'team' handles that. uhhhh...ok.

By the end of day Jan 6th everyone knew the deal (wrong or right). She didn't mention it on Jan 10 because she was trying to fly under the radar and not be associated.

She gave a megaphone speech as people ignored her and milled around the white house.

She's a quack sniffing her own farts.

Shes a "quack" because the info she was giving was different than the info 90% of doctors was giving, right? But it turns out the info she was giving was correct and the other 90% were wrong or just lying. At what point do we start calling the liars names and quit calling the ones telling the truth "quacks"?
