Thanks for the help. My samples called for 2 tons per acre of lime and like 300-500 lbs an acre of 0-20-20 so my gut was to get this out as soon as it dries enough that I can drag the buggy across them. I appreciate the replies. Go and get some 0-46-0 and 0-0-46 and skip the 0-20-20. I usually special order it. Buckwheat would be the easiest to broadcast ahead of rain. Give it 2 weeks and then you can probably broadcast something else into the emerging buckwheat. Clay peas will grow about anywhere. This fall, broadcast cereal rye into it ahead of rain, and that should help build your organic material base for next spring. Then come in and broadcast into the standing rye and mow it. What's your lbs./acre on the buckwheat and peas since it's not a stand-alone crop? If I was doing a no till, 50 pounds of each. Less if you can disk it.
