Anybody got it? If so, give me the pros and cons please. Looks like I’m not going to have a lot of WiFi options at our new place.

Best I've found when there's no DSL / hardline or T Mobile available.

People have trouble getting enough unobstructed sky to point at. It was impossible to get a clear shot for me, but it's clear enough that we do better than mobile hotspot. We've had better but it works fine for what we do most of the time. I've got two kids using Accellus half of every weekday while I'm connected to a work server. Some days there's a wife doing whatever it is they do on their phone all day.

If you need to elevate it higher than your rooftop, look for an old antenna tower.

The best deal going in rural areas. Ours isn't perfect, but many times better than Hughes net, etc. Love it. Cell phone, computer, television all run through it

$499-$599 to start . Install yourself . $120 a month unlimited data . I get over 100 mbp all the time . Stream whatever , 10 phones, 100 tvs. No limits . Have to have unobstructed northwest sky . Order extra long wire a put on pole if have to . Only option I have at the time . . High speed spectrum being installed in my area now . I’m keeping starlink .

Have it here at the house. I live on a cleared out hilltop sitting at 1200’ elevation . I have no obstructions to hinder signal. It’s maybe gone out twice over the past year and that was a nationwide issue by my understanding with updates. It’s windy up here on the hill and it’s gets sketchy during storms but no drop of internet unless the power goes out. WiFi reception is pretty darn good off the factory setup and no booster, etc. I can pick up WiFi signal 150 yards away from the house.Don't care for the cost but it’s the only option here and it’s been great

I'd have a UPS on there so it even works if the power is out.

Only thing I ever had faster was Comcast fiber.

My local provider said the best I could get with their cable internet was 4-7 mbps. I measured Starlink at 235 mbps forst day, and it has never gone below 65.

Before you lay out the money for Starlink, check to see if your new address qualifies for T-Mobile Home Internet. It does not qualify for lots of addresses. If it does, you can get a free two week trial. Make sure you put it through the paces in the free trial...just because your address may qualify, doesn't necessarily mean that it works great there.

My T-Mobile Home Internet blows a neighbor's Starlink away. He's mad because they've closed the signup for T-Mobile in our area. I pay ($30/month) a fraction of what he does ($120/month) per month, with no up-front equipment cost. Don't get me wrong...the Starlink serves him well, it's just 4x more than what I pay for not-as-good service.

This is true. Wish I would have had signal enough to run one.

I have it and love it. Have had it for about 2 years now. I heard the new dish is even better.

You need a clear view of the sky. I also run it on a UPS so if the power flickers or goes out for a few I still have internet. Strong rain "may" make it buffer a little bit, but usually if this happens it's back in action pretty quick. My only other option was a Verizon hotspot that sucked.

New dishes are cheaper too now.

Wish they would let you turn service on and off on the residential for seasonal homes. It’s available on the Roam service but not the residential service. Not sure if there is any difference in signal quality with the Roam and the Residential services. Seems like the same antenna.
