As I was walking in, I heard one sound off on his own once and went silent again. About 45 minutes later, I heard a hen cut and I cut back at her and he hammered. Then it was on. He started gobbling at everything and was gobbling 3-4 times in a string. He took a route that followed a hallow that looped around behind me. The next time he gobbled, he was 40 yards behind me so I had to get to my knees and swing around. A few clucks and purrs later, his red head pops the ridge at 20 yards and is dead at 11:45. It sure is nice when they read the script perfectly!

jdfarm23 6 point J Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 876 Pike Road, AL	2 hunts so far and seen 2 birds die. I roosted a couple gobblers yesterday afternoon and this morning I watched them fly down right to me. Dead at 6:25 AM. Not much to his beard or spurs but man he hammered on the limb and put on a show for me when he hit the ground. I hope they keep it up.
