Congrats to the successful! Thursday and Friday can't get here fast enough for me. We had another great youth opener this morning at the Winston County farm!! Emory folded up a 2 year old gobbler with his .410 at 12 yards about 8:00!!! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/jVF3rj1.jpeg) What a great picture. He will cherish those memories for the rest of his life.

Trying an afternoon hunt in lowndes on a buddies place. He killled one around here yesterday afternoon and another one this morning on other side of property. Hoping to have a good hunt. Gotta go to an engagement party tonight so gotta be outta here by 515 or so.

Well crap, parked on the side of a small dead end dirt road at the end where it meets a county paved road. Had eased into the woods, and heard a car come out of the dirt road. Stopped then left, then returned. Heard several doors and I started that way. Got there in time to see them pull off. Busted my window and stole some stuff from truck. I blocked road, and the police are now checking the 3-4 residents of the road. Stole a custom pot that I had made from wood off my family farm, and two strikers that a dear friend made and gave me yesterday. I’m pissed. And if you ever need the police quick , just tell dispatch that you have a gun and no one is leaving 😂 We need an update

Update the cops got there, and went to the homes there, and found who they think did it, but since they didn’t see any of my stuff, said they couldn’t do anything. So I guess I get to replace a window, the things they took. I’m most upset about the call and strikers. I did move to another place and struck a bird, and he gobbled a million times, but he was on the other side of a river. Got him to come all the way to the river bank, but wouldn’t fly across, but still a good hunt.
