EVERYONE has issues trying to maintain quality these days. The folks making guns these days are NOT our grandfathers (or the old, European craftsmen). They’re CNC machines with assemblers, efficiency managers, and bean counters at every step trying to lean out everything. That’s counterintuitive to making guns like they used to be in quality.

My friend who is a Browning dealer has had 6 of the new A5 20 gauge shotguns on order from Browning for a long time, but he has received zero of them. As others have said, they're popping up on GunBroker and selling for $1,700 to $2,000.
The new A5 receiver being *painted black* instead of actually being *properly blued* is a big cause of concern for me -- especially at this price point.
