Since retiring in January and the end of deer season I haven’t been doing much except piddling around the house. My wife made the mistake of telling me I needed to find something to do. So after a 12 year hiatus from the 3D game, I’m fixing to dive back in. To hell with judging yardage this time around. I’m going to shoot one of the known yardage classes. Gonna shoot the Senior Known 50 this year. Gonna make a few local shoots around the state and plan on making 3 ASA’s. Going to Minden Louisiana next month, Metropolis, Illinois in June and the Classic in Cullman in July. I plan on jumping up to the Senior Known Pro class next year with Sluggun and try to make all of the ASA’s.

Picked up a brand new left over 2024 Mathews TRX 34 from Archery Unlimited a few weeks ago at a helluva price. Finally got everything installed and tuned it up last week. Will probably get a Title 34 or 36 at some point or maybe a Lift X 33. Had to get me a small magnifying glass so I can see the tiny marks on my sight tape so I can set it correctly. Didn’t want to have to fool with reading glasses on the range. Getting old sucks. Gonna be fun this time around not having to worry about work getting in the way of practice or traveling for a shoot.
