They are accurate indeed. T/C used and promoted the 5R rifling and it produces less deformation on a jacketed bullet. If the brass at the new T/C still use it, it ought to be a tack driver once again.

Well Frankie, you are in luck. T/C's new Encore IS going to be chambered for 460 S&W. It will make a great rifle round. I'd guess it will be a bang/flop gun for sure. I just happen to have 70 new Hornady cases for a (future?) 460.

Did you load them or are they factory? I've never seen any factory Hornady shot shells. . That case would hold a lot of shot. I've got 70 new Hornady cases that I don't need if you know anybody who needs them. I load a 450 Bushmaster for my son's rifle and the engineer I talked to at Hornady told me that the 250 gr FTX they make is constructed tougher than the regular pistol bullets and yet still gives good expansion. Perfect for a 460 S&W. Kudo's to Greg Ritz and the new Thompson Center for chambering the new rifle in 460.

Hoping the internals of the new encore can be used in legacy encores. Hammer broke on one of my encore frames and needs replaced. On a side note, picked up a 450 bushmaster barrel for my encore. Tack driver but it eats scope rings for lunch, even with a muzzle brake.

Keep trying to find info on the new encores ,can't find anything other than they're coming back out

Wish they would make the WSM calibers, but have read it has to do with cup pressures.

I saw the list of calibers on their new Facebook page.

It appears as if they wanted to get the word out about them being back. Probably get a few extra sales from folks that were looking at something else but will hold out a few months for a TC.

Maybe they will get stock to dealers by the end of Q2.

I couldn’t find a dealer listing on their site.
