don't run that mouth unless you are prepared to back it up.

something ain't adding up......the guy 100% crossed the line, no question. But he accused the kid of sitting in the channel fishing before daylight with no lights on. First, the kid claims that wasn't him, it was the other boat and he didn't know them or have anything to do with them. But a few minutes later, the guy accuses the kid of calling him a "f***ing f*ggot", and the kid says it wasn't him, but his buddy that is now in the other boat....
My guess is both sides are dumbasses that crossed the line. The kid and/or his buddy were fishing with no lights on and almost go ran over. This guy gets pissed and comes back and they go to mouthing at each other. The kid runs his mouth to a stranger, being a smartass and dropping a dozen or more f-bombs, then the guy loses his mind and and severely overreacts.
(and if the kid truly wasn't involved in any way like he claims, he should've just ignored the guy and never let him get close enough to board in the first place)
Both sides are stupid idiots and hopefully they both learned a valuable lesson. The captain needs to lose his license and get run out of the state.

Yeah, the kid kept saying it was another guy on his boat then accused the hothead of going too fast.

Ol boy is going to lose everything. Sounds like they’re going to pull his license. He’s 100% disabled yet running a business That's bullchit that he's 100% disabled. If youre fishing professionally for a living, there's not a damn thing wrong with your body. One of the most body taxing jobs that you can do and you take a full on beating every single day. He's scamming the system, just like he claimed to be a combat vet and ranger and it turns out he was a REMF Human Resources clerk. Kid (wasnt really a kid, he was 22 yrs old) was a puss but still should have shot him in the face and it would have been completely justified. Another report I saw showed that the captain has had numerous arrests (6 or 8) ranging from DUIs to felony assault, covering the period both before and after he left the service. All of that should have prohibited him from obtaining or maintaining that license.

Some people just don’t understand the concept of when to shut up and plenty of them like this lead to a shortened life span.

Possibly a mental thing. He’s obviously got some issues

don't run that mouth unless you are prepared to back it up. This is not being talked about enough. Not saying anyone was in the wrong or the right, but the guy who videoed the deal was dawg cussing him and running his mouth.... and then ole boy gets on his boat. Then its "i am a kid man, bro bro bro chill I am a kid" 3 mins ago he was mf'ing... I am not saying ole boy getting on that boat was right but you can't talk to another man crazy and not expect nothing.... In the same breath you can't expect to get in another persons boat and nothing happen either.... Again, 99% of the people on this site including me would have put lead in ole boy the moment he stepped foot in the boat. But people has been on the internet running that mouth forgetting there is consequences in the real world...
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

I could see him being mentally disabled because he's dang sure stupid. Every issue that he had in life, would have most likely been immediately and permanently solved, had he jumped on any one of probably 50 other boats fishing in the same general area. Most of the real tarpon guys down there are pretty dang salty and not at all afraid to throw hands or leave someone floating in the water. That "captain" is one of the luckiest guys around. It is also worth mentioning that the kid he was starting it with probably did not even weigh 120 pounds soaking wet. If you dont have the ass to back it up, best to keep that pie hole shut.
