I think they own some of the NBA anyways don’t they? Or some of the teams? It seems I remember some of the NBA players not wanting to talk bad about china for that reason or something like that. I think that had to do with TV contracts maybe??

China needs us more than we need them. Yep. We got by without cheap chinese made crap for a long time. We can get right back to it if needed. I remember buying surplus chinese 9mm ammunition in the 90's for dirt cheap.

104% Tariff starts at midnight. China is not going to deal. They will probably devalue their currency at which point Trump will raise the tariff to match the devaluation. In theory he could raise it to 100,000% That would send China into a Weimar republic hyperinflation mode.
China does not have an option but to deal or do something stupid. The other Asian countries are ready to fill the void for China.
