If you ever have an opportunity to do a tour of a distillery (I've only done Jack Daniel's) - it is amazing.

Making bourbon from start to finish is very interesting, it's both science and art. . I've toured a few high end distilleries in Kentucky , they're all a little different.

International stave company bought out the brown foreman mills around here . We have sent them many loads of white oak logs over the years . Most expensive wood in this area $200 a ton for logs. Problem now the market is flooded with white oak lumber and demand is low .
