Greatest invention ever put the fence with the stands behind it 1000 yards away from the field. It messes your timing up as an umpire but you adjust pretty quickly. Best baseball rules video was from the 1960s with prime Bob Gibson pitching full out to 11&12 year Olds. Momma&Daddy learned quickly that Johnny isn't quite ready for Mlb.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Best story I heard in our community involved the 6th grade football championship. A player from one team broke loose headed down the sidelines for the winning touchdown and a mom from the opposite team standing on the sidelines tripped the kid as he was running by causing him to fall. She had to apologize to the entire time a day later and send an e-mail to league partners with an apologize and she was banned from ever attending a game again. I would have prosecuted her for attacking the kid.

I stomached the parents of the 8-9 yr old girls softball team I coached when my daughter played. best day of my life is when she said i don't want to play next year and I kicked that gig to the curb. Some folks are insufferable. You end up with 2, maybe three kids with any athletic talent... tough to work in the other 10 so they get at least one inning and one at bat. Forget trying to win. They shouldn't even keep score until they are playing in Jr High school.

When picking a team get all the Good looking moms. Kids will be fine. If I’m getting my azz chewed by a mom at least it’s worth the look. I had a buddy that asked for parents names before he drafted a tee ball team. He was looking them up on facebook for the moms and the fast kids 😂 Real men of genius.........Today we salute you Mr. little league milf drafter guy

Coached my son’s T-Ball team for 2-years. I had a meeting with the parents before the season started and shared my thoughts on coaching from the stands. Only had one incident and it was minor - a mom was yelling/screaming at her kid to pay attention. Very politely and privately I shared with her that while on the field, it was my responsibility to correct bad behavior and it was her job to cheer for the team. She apologized and never had any other issues.
I probably had 2-3 kids that were OK, but most of them were there for the snacks.

I coached a kids YMCA baseball team once. I was single. Didn't have a lot to do. My future wife would come to the games and listen to the mothers talk shit. One day one of the mothers walked up and accused me of giving preferential treatment to my child. She wanted her daughter (it was co-ed) to play a position. The little girl didn't want to play that position. So she played where she wanted. All the kids got the chance to rotate to positions to try them. So when she accused me I walked her to the stands where my teams parents were sitting. I asked them all to identify my child. There were a few guesses, but none correct. I didn't have a child. I was volunteering with no motive. The look on their faces when my future wife started laughing and pointing out all the BS was priceless. When she was done I asked for a show of hands who wanted to coach. None raised their hands. Then I told them I'd coach, enjoy and cheer on your kids and let them have fun. We only had 8 games but we won all 8. And I never wanted to coach again.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I hate you didn’t want to do it again but totally get it.
