I'm not even sure. 4 of our own, 4 adopted, and several of the kids we kept during the dozen or so years that we did foster care that still call us Mom and Dad. Job well done sir.

I'm not even sure. 4 of our own, 4 adopted, and several of the kids we kept during the dozen or so years that we did foster care that still call us Mom and Dad. Good job. A friend of mine and his wife are foster parents. They deal with special needs children. I always tell my friend that. When it’s your time there will be a special chair for you upstairs.

Two. 27 year old son and a 7 yo adopted daughter.
I was active with my son. I was young. I feel bad I can't be as active with my daughter. She came along when I was 51 and as someone else stated, playing horse at 53 ain't easy.
I do as much as I can with her, but when she wants to play chase, learning to ride a bike, etc. Those are challenges.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
