Been through this. Mine did it intermittently. Went through every kind of sensor, some other expensive part that I can’t remember the name of right now, and finally fixed it with a fuel pump. Yours could be different, but it sounds like a real similar problem. The sensors are cheap. The map something or another I replaced wasn’t, but there was a chance it could be it. Mine did it every time I turned lights of any kind on. I guess pulling power away from the pump?? Anyway, I ordered one from superatv I believe and haven’t had a problem since, and that’s been 6 or 8 months ago. Good luck. They can be frustrating.
Oh, and mine is a 2015 900 Polaris. Bet it’s the fuel pump. 5 minute changeout time.

This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

Seems like I remember a sensor under the brake pedal arm that caused that issue on one I had. Havent had much problem with mine but this is the same thing my buddy had. New sensor under brake pedal fixed his.
