I run mine at 4.0 grains of Titegroup with no issues and good accuracy. I like your screen name. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania many many years ago.

I had pretty good success with all the tests I ran. Hard to tell much difference without a chrono. It seemed like the 4.1 grains ended up shooting a nice group and the recoil wasn't terrible especially in my edc I was practicing with. I was a little nervous since the min and max with titegroup was a lot less than the CFE Pistol I was using. I have no ties to the university other than I used to have a Slippery Rock hat back in the day and always thought that was a funny name for a school. But that is where the username came from.

I’m about to load 1500 rounds and I can’t see how it’s efficient cost wise. A good buddy that taught me reloading many years ago has several Dillion’s setup Told me he’d be mad if I showed up with powder and primers, yet I will. Normally he’d load all I want but has back and neck issues so I need to pull the lever he said.
Just curious if I’m missing something as far as cost savings. Are yall buying in super sized bulk or what?

I don’t load pistol ammo. I get what I need at very cheap prices. I only load rifle ammo because it’s fun and I enjoy it. I get better accuracy and the projectiles I want. It sure ain’t to save money.

Yeah been buying a 1000 for around $250-260. Liking that Turkish BPS 124 gr stuff and federal 124 gr loads. I’ve shot probably 5k loads since last spring. Heck maybe more?

Good answer, I have a lot of powder and bullets I bought 0ver 20 years ago so Im in good shape at a reasonable price. I'm retiring next month so I'm going to put them to good use.

Just curious if I’m missing something as far as cost savings. Are yall buying in super sized bulk or what? Maybe saving .02 .03 cents a round vs sale price 9mm. It is just giving me something else to play with. After I bought my press I figure I need to load 23k rounds to break even on the cost of the press... 🙄

😝 That’s what I’m afraid of. My buddy said he may swap one of the Dillions if I’m interested.
Another question I do have is there cleaner powder in your reloads? Some of these cheap 9mm pods run dirty

Hp 38 w231 Aa2,your fast burners are "cleaner" the real trick is using a 4.5 or 5 inch barrel to burn that powder fully.

Is TG clean burning? Im interested in learning if need be.
Honestly I think I’m done with the regular so called rounds and the tactical stuff peaks my interested We have hunters at the farm so they can kill what I want to eat deer wise. The 9 and 5.56 AR stuff has my attention these days. Is funny a guy I know has gone deeper into the abyss than I and he’s the last fellow I’d thought would dive there
I’ll probably swap my buddy for the the Dillon and I’m all ears now. I’ve found these X Treme billets that are jacketed and there’s price breaks on other higher counts
I have access to to unlimited brass not counting what I shoot my self.

Talked to my friend yesterday. He loads unique at 6.5 or so with 115. He said you wanna load full case so as to see double loads and also get better consistency as the primer will ignite fully instead having an air pocket. How he was taught back in the early 70
Not sure how full your case is I’m gonna try silhouette and see. My load calls for 5.2 grains under 124 jacketed bullet

Good advice. I've never used Silhouette but never heard anything negative about it.
