baseball cap is a CAP
cowboy hat is a HAT.. This a cap has a brim on the front. A hat has a brim on all sides. Yep, that explains it well.

When I was in the Marines, we called them a "cover."
I remember one day in comm school in 1980 and I was walking by the First Sergeant one nice morning with my "cap" on the back of my head.
"Good morning First Sergeant!"
"Why don't you get your skinny little ass under that cover and not in front of it!"
He was a "Lifer" and had fought in Korea and Vietnam. I think he had about 5 or 6 service hash marks on his sleeve. Crusty old bastard he was. He acted like he hated all that shit, but he must have loved it.

You can only where your cap backwards if riding a four wheeler on in a bass boat. Or if you are a catcher in baseball.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

You can only where your cap backwards if riding a four wheeler on in a bass boat. Or if you are a catcher in baseball. I was umpiring the other day and heard a high school player refer to it as “hind catcher”. I told him I hadn’t heard it called that in a long long time. You can only where your cap backwards if riding a four wheeler on in a bass boat. Welding Maybe, but a welders cap is made to wear backwards. Keep those biters off your neck lol. Or at least I was always taught to wear them backwards.
