Worst pope in modern history I don't keep up with Popes or Catholic news. But I'd be tempted to agree with you. He introduced a LOT of evil and embraced it. He purged good priests if I remember correctly and promoted invasion and perversion. I don't believe he's the first, nor will he be the last. I'm on the fence about Catholicism to begin with. I've seen where it did good and I've seen it do evil. A coworker, years ago, was being beat senseless before she filed for divorce. State gave her the divorce and the restraining order. She met a good fella a few years later but couldn't get married because the Catholic church didn't sanction the divorce. They had to pay the church to sanction the divorce and that tells me just about everything I need to know about the Catholic church. It's colored my view of it every since. But people line up to get in their doors. Ignoring what's right in front of them.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Dumb question I am sure. But why dont they pick someone in their 40s. They seem to pick these guys with one foot in the grave. Some rule I dont know about? Being Pope is VERY POLITCAL. It's all about having enough votes at the conclave to be elected and younger candidates just don't have the political clout to get the cherished seat. Those over 80 are too senior to be selected but have immense power on who becomes Pope.

They killed him off. Official cause of death was a stroke plus heart attack. Thats plausible but its also easy to do with the right kind of medication and his advanced health problems. The timing is to perfect and they got a plan they are trying to execute. Klaus Schwab also resigned at the same time. So now its time for the next part of their plan to screw all of us over.
