Where are some places to fish from shore down there, besides the beach? We are going a few days this week for the wife's job. Also, what about some good places to eat? 😁

The Sea wall at the foot of the Pass Bridge. I think the State Park pier is open to fishing again too.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Fort Morgan pier, GSP pier, Perdido Pass seawall or beach side, West Pass

Just FYI, local schools are out for Spring Break this week and the beaches will probably be busier than normal

Some folks fish the intercostal just East of the Wharf. There’s some places to pull off the road

Shrimp Basket absolutely sucks. Right there on the Gulf of America and they serve seafood raised in vietnamese sewage ponds.

Shrimp basket is a chain of restaurants a step or two above captain d's... you shouldn't go there expecting a gourmet seafood dinner

With 575 dozen "where to eat in GS / OB" threads, i don't think shrimp basket has ever been recommended

Not OB, but gulf shores this morning. Caught my limit and threw back another 10-15 probably.

There's not one, you gotta go all the way up to Foley. And I'd take Captain D's over Shrimp Basket any day.

Shrimp Basket locations are designed for Touron’s on a budget with a lot of mouths to feed that only eat seafood 1 week a year.

Shrimp Basket was a local joke down in Pcola, like why would you go get seafood there when you have so many other good options. I never went to one when I lived down there. Now that I live in Evergreen, it's one of the nicest restaurants in town!!
