Saw a recent post from MSU that prescribed Gly + Oust rather than Imazapyr for use around hardwoods. The rates they gave were on a per acre basis. Most of the areas I have to treat are along roadsides and are more suited to spot treatment rather than a broadcast application.
Any experience with Oust on Cogon Grass ? It’s got to be better than glyphosate alone.

I’ve had success with gly but sometimes it takes a second or third application.

I’ve had mixed results. Both with Gly+adjuvants and Gly+Imazapyr. My normal mix is similar to the Eraser Max that Matt posted about, and it’s the same as the RM43 that TSC sells.
I got a couple of spots that look like they’ve never been sprayed but were definitely sprayed and appeared dead last year.
My question on the Oust is due to the fact I know I killed a few 8-10” DBH red oaks last year. Cogon too in that spot.
I’ve ordered some Oust and will give it a try. Found a reference to a mix with .08 oz/gallon for spot applications and that is close to the per acre rate.

I’ve had success with gly but sometimes it takes a second or third application. 5% and wet the piss put out of it. Could take more than 1 application.
You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?
