Should be immediately kicked out of school for attacking the teacher. Teacher needs to learn how to plant his foot so he doesn't slap like a girl. Little chits need to learn some respect in school, because apparently they're not taught at home. Take their phones and bling away, make 'em sit in their assigned seat, stfu and try to learn something other than "you want fries with that"! Just mho. When I was growing up in the 60's and 70's our teachers wouldn't put up with any nonsense! You were read the riot act once, and if you continued down that path you were "taught" how to act and respond like a human being after school. Call them out in front of their peers. Stomp this entitled BS out of them. Doesn't matter if their black, brown or white! Take back the schools.

My wife is a teacher, and if someone laid a hand on her I would turn their head into a canoe.

My wife taught many years. She came home and told me they found the special ed teacher (pregnant) unconscious in the bushes next to the school. Kid that should have been in school at all, much less that many grades behind knocked her out and tossed her in the bushes..

I made sure the wife knew exactly what would happen if she let herself get in that situation. I'd kill the kid, the parents and anyone else who got in the way. No questions asked. She knew if a kid started acting violent to leave, lock the door and call 911, not the principal. Luckily it never happened to her but it did happen to a few other teachers. School always swept under the rug.

You should see the stuff that goes on in an adolescent behavioral health unit. They get sent to us cause they can't behave at school and we are supposed to fix them so they can go back to school. At least we can somewhat medicate them.

Bring back the paddle. If you acted up in class the teacher didn't get to do much other than a ruler smacking the palm of your hand, I remember I got that a couple of times 3rd grade.

Most times you were sent to the principles office and he would lay the smack down on us. Paddle with holes drilled in it so he could get some speed and power with each swing. If you really wanted to fight the punishment I remember being sent to the gym, I was told ,tell a coach why you were sent to the gym, once they knew why, they'd break out old painless... a sawed in in near half ball bat about 2/3rds thickness... yep , holes drilled in it too..

Some time later a choice of being suspended for three days was instituted, then get home and my dad would beat the living hell out of me. I tell ya what though... you never heard of no students or student beating up on a teacher for fear of the consequences.

That was my dad's rule, if I got a paddling at school another one was given at home. A lot of these kids are a product of a one parent family and the dad is not involved

News flash. Dad isn't around. Mom isn't involved. Nuance I know, but it's the truth.

And that’s how a progressive agenda comes to fruition

The common sense approach has been eliminated

I’m gonna assume that coincides with the closing of institutions and ones that should not be out having to be handled by entities not equipped for such.

Teacher couldn’t fight or he would have started laying them out and that’s what is needed. Unfortunately the teachers hands are tied and the principals are family or friends of school board or superintendents. They won’t do squat but give them candy or whatever so it’s no punishment at all. Parents show up and defend students and they need to be laid out also
