Go to a shop and shoot one is the best advice anyone can give you. Bows are like cars, everyone has a preference, it's more about personal fit with a bow than anything else.

I’ve got the VXR 28. It’s nice. Don’t have any experience with the Elite. You need to shoot a Lift 29.5 and a Lift 33. The Lift 33 is hands down the best holding and shooting Mathews I’ve ever had.
