I know they say you are not going to kill one sitting on the couch, but is it worth going with this awful wind? I have no desire to get blown around in a tree this afternoon and not see a thing. Also any strategies for hunting this wind

i usually get down and stalk when the wind is like this (with a gun). I'm hoping to go tomorrow afternoon if this damn wind slows down

I'm out here in it. Nothing so far, but I'm hopeful something will move if the wind lays a little at sunset.

Yep, alot of people would love the chance to go hunt but can't for one reason or another.

I was thinking of going this evening after work but decided to go tmw instead. Ten mins after leaving work driving by a small cut surrounded by pines I slowed down to watch a doe and yearling walk across the clear cut. Everybody I've talked to says they have seen deer or killed one. I say the wind has a affect in some locations but not all.

Kaleb and I saw 6 this evening. We didn't get in until late (4:30). Deer were nervous from the wind.

WE saw a total of 8 deer this evening. They were nervous due to wind but were out feeding around 5:30..turned out to be good evening to be in the woods

I am heading out in the morning till about 10 or so. Went both days last weekend and seen nothing but a gobbler, too bad it was not turkey season. He was only 15 yards from me while I was sitting on the end of a food plot, behind a one sided blind.

Deer always seem to move earlier in day when it is windy to me

Went today didn't see a darn thing
