This is true but it's still funny as all get out. You never know what Si is gonna come up with next other than tipping that glass of sweet tea.

Phil didnt play in the NFL with Bradshaw.. Bradshaw was Phil's backup QB in college. Phil turned down the offer to play pro football because it interfered with duck hunting season.

I thought I was going to die on the past episode where Phil and Si were going to swap the BBQ grill when Phil told Mrs Kay he wanted banana pudding and rough sex

I figured the sister in law was Willies wife's sister.
Only an idot would believe nothing in the show was contrived but it's still entertaining, especially Uncle Si.
Way better than the other stupid chit on these days.

Phil was the starting QB at LA Tech before Bradshaw. He didn't play pro baseball, he was a teacher before he went into the duck call business.

I got chills when the sister-in-law started started singing Silent Night. That was a great episode.

Willy's sister in law needs more air time.

I was watching with a friend last night and we were talking about the same thing. She's gotta be a strange bird herself for marrying Si. A few episodes ago when they were furniture shopping and Phil and Kay are rolling around on the bed. Willy about pukes his mouth and tells them "here's a mirror if you want to look." Phil reply's "boy, you don't want to see what me and you momma been doing in the bed". I lost a lung after that!
Hey, I know alot of it is staged but I think the producers put them in a situation and they add lib from there, so it's still genuine when it comes out of their mouth and the reactions of the others. They aren't reading a script that's for sure. It's a great show with all the junk on TV today.
