I have an old Mossberg bolt action .22 that was bought for me just before I was born. One of the most accurate rifles of any caliber I've ever shot...unless you clean it, then you can't drop it and hit the ground with it until the barrel's fouled again! My grandpa gave me two of these also. One is a plain model and the other has the full length stock that goes all the way to the end of the barrel. It also has a Lyman peep sight. He also left me a winchester that shoots only .22 shorts. His dad gave it to him in 1941. These are all priceless to me.

Remington 742 Jammaster.Without a doubt my favorite. That gun is so much a part of me that I honestly dont remember aiming at the last 15 or 20 deer that I shot with it and its never jammed on me.

Lever action .177 cal Haha I almost choked I laughed so hard. Mine is a cheap Remington 7400 30-06 it was the gun I killed my first deer with and I killed my most recent # 49 with it. I don't think it is all that accurate or by any means a real good gun but I will never get rid of that gun.
Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

12ga. Remington 870 Wingmaster Killed lots of dove, quail, rabbits and a few deer and some pheasants with it. My dad bought it used and I got it from him over 40 years ago. Still use it.

Rifle - .270 Browning A-Bolt my parents gave me 23 years ago. Shotgun - 12ga. Revelations that belonged to my great grandfather and was given to me by my grandfather a month before he passed away. I killed my first deer with it, a 7pt. Pistol - .22 Ruger Single Six. It was the first pistol I ever bought. Airgun - Daisy Red Rider I was so good at killin' birds with it my mom wouldn't allow me to shoot it in the yard. Still got that old joker.

Off the shelf Chinamart Savage 110, 30-06, with I think simmons scope that I bought off a guy needing some money. I didn't need the gun but wanted to help him out. Took it hunting a few times and it ended up being my favorite gun to carry. Something about that gun just fit me, when it went to my shoulder the crosshairs were on whatever I was looking at. In 3 years I never missed a shot with that gun. I ended up selling it back to the original owner (he is a really good friend) and he still has it today. Wonder if he'll allow me unsupervised visitation??

Remington Model 700 BDL in .270 Win. My Mom bought it for me for Christmas when I was 15. I have hunted with it almost exclusively the past 30 years. My son and all 3 of my nephews, along with a bunch of other friends and family have killed their first deer with it. Just a couple of weeks ago, Seth let one of his close friends use it and he killed a big boar hog that was his first ever. Lots of memories in that gun!!!! It means even more to my now that my mother has passed away. I would probably get kicked off the forum if anybody could see all the animals it has killed in one big pile.......

Mine is a Ruger M77 Stainless w/Skeleton Stock in 30/06.
It is just plain a shooter. I had one just like it. Traded it off to buy another gun. Best shooting gun I ever had.

I'm too cheap at (the moment) to own more than one rifle but it would be hard for me to put down my 1980s era Smith & Wesson stamped Howa 1500 .308
It was lightly used when I found it a mom and pop gun store. The owner steered me away from several new, way more expensive rifles and told me I'd never be sorry I bought it and he was right. Two months later he was gunned down seconds after he opened the shop one morning by 3 thugs wanting the cash box.
I'll never sell that rifle. RIP Tracy.

Remington 1100, I got when I was 9.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Rifle : it would have to be a remington 7400 243. It was my first deer rifle given to me by my dad. After I got older and "had to have a bigger gun" my dad started shooting it and it became his favorite rifle. He absolutely loved that little rifle. After i got a little older i tried to get him to let me have it back and he said it was to much gun for me Between the 2 of us that gun killed a lot of stuff. He has passed away now and that gun means more to me than any other rifle I own. Every couple of years I take it out hunting but I usually end up staring at the gun and doing more crying than hunting.... Shotgun : my dads old remington 1100. He had that shotgun before I was born. No telling what all that gun has killed. As a little kid I always wanted a gun just like his so when I was 15 I had saved up enough money (i only had $300 so i think my dad kicked in some money so that i could get it but he never told me if he did) to buy a used one that looked just like his. They are identical except his has more wear marks on his that he always said added "character". I hope to one day take his old 1100 with its fixed imp cyl choke and the left over box of winchester #4's that he had and kill a turkey with it...

Other than a very old Stevens .22 my grandad had, it would be my savage 110 in .270. I've killed too many deer and critters with it to count. Many years of hunting with it and it has never failed and is very accurate. Have to mention my rem. 870 pump and my 1st deer rifle the great marlin 30-30. All workhorse guns no bells or whistles just accurate well made dependable guns for the working man
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!
