We have been geting pictures of this buck since September and I spent alot of time in one spot during bow season trying to get him without any luck. My dad saw him one time during bow season and couldnt get a shot. I was running late Saturday afternoon so i went and sat on a stand on the edge of a grown up clearcut. At 4:30 i heard something behind me in the woods and this buck and a 7pt were about 60 yards behind me trailing a doe. I couldnt get him to stop so i picked the next hole in front of him and waited til he came through it and touched it off. I didnt see him after the shot so i waited a little bit and ot down to look for blood and there he was laying where i shot him, it was so thick i never saw him fall.
