Good Mornin All.

My day yesterday sucked. I own a home on PC Beach and got a phone call yesterday from a neighbor that keeps an eye on it for me telling me that my water meter showed something was running. I left and drove to see if I could find and solve whatever was on or leaking. I get there to find one of the toilets had a seal in the bottom of the tank that was leaking. The only upside to the whole event was the toilet that was leaking was a round seated toilet that me and both my boys absolutely hated....Round Toilets Suck. So instead of repairing the seal I replaced the toilet with an elongated Kohler.....Now that's a Toilet a man can feel comfortable on. As I worked on replacing the toilet I did a partial remodel of a few things in that bathroom that updated it somewhat.

Regardless, on the way to PCB I was called by my oldest son who lurks this website and he tells me I am catching hell on here. I am driving so I text a buddy and ask him to speak up for the fact that I am driving and will have my hands full for a while, but to get my back if needed.

I joined this forum as I love to hunt. I fish when it's not hunting season, but I love the woods year around. I am looking at buying a sizeable piece of property this year in central Alabama and this sight just seemed attractive to me as it is Alabama based and involves hunting and shooting. So here I am.

I treat everyone the same all the time. I don't treat anyone differently on an online forum than I would treat them face to face, on the phone, in business, on a boat, in the woods, friends or someone that I am meeting for the first time. More or less I respect everyone until they give me a reason not to. Call me a sissy, sensitive or whatever else you choose, that is how I was raised and it has gotten me this far and I'm not changin. I understand everyone is not like me and I thank God for it as I don't expect everyone to be like me either and I don't judge others for not having my point of view, which brings me to an explanation ....

I read in my spare time. I learn a lot reading and I read a lot. I don't care to read fiction, so I read non-fiction and real life writing. Years ago I found on another forum that I could post a topic of interest and then enjoy reading the statements, opinion and thoughts of others as they shared instead of having to carry books with me on trips or have them available when I had time to read. Some of the stories that have been shared by doing this were so popular they have been published in a fairly large magazine publication. I have found that this not only provided me with good reading from time to time but I have made a huge number of friends in the process.

So now anyone that took the time to read this should see that my interest is not in my post as much as your answer or reply as that is what I enjoy reading..... I already know my stories and how I think.

Based on some of the things my son told me were stated on here about me, I felt I should respond. I would also think that the same people that wrote those statements would be very different live and in person.

No hard feelings here, I'm a big boy and have dealt with people all over the world, and I promise you that no one on Aldeer is going to change my day.

I hope All you guys have a Great Mornin.... and never have to sit on another round top toilet.

Yep, round toilets stink!! laughup I guess I missed the thread that you were getting beat up in. All for the better though as I try to steer clear of drama. I don't know who said what but I do know there are a lot of good folks on here that'll drop everything and come running if you need them too. You sound intelligent enough to already know this but don't judge everyone by a few people's actions. I hope today is much better for you.

Sitting on a round toilet backwards isn't so bad.

One thing about this place: It is filled with folks who will bend over backwards to help a brother out but you better have some thick skin cause it can get kind of rough around here at times.

There are only 8 people that can do anything I would take personal and one of them is God. BTW you aren't in the other 7 either.

Troll away.

I truly believe that. I have met a lot of people and there are most likely some on here that I would know if I knew their screen name in reference to their real name.

That said, I have already found a couple that I would simply choose to overlook or ignore as well.

What kind of fishing do you do?

I spend most of my time in Salty Water..... But I used to love Lake Eufaula in the Spring time.

I love salty fishing. Any kind as long as it bites and pulls I don't care.

Drive. We go down several times a year and surf fish off beach. I had a 24 ft boat we use to troll the bay with but I sold it a few years ago. Had a reef about 3 miles out we use to fish.

Destin mostly. When we go deep sea out we usually go to Pensacola. I drive down to the gulf 4-6 times a summer. We usually go thanksgiving week also.
