I love some salt water fishing. When I lived in Tampa for a couple years, I went 3 or 4 times a week to the Skyway Fishing Pier. Good Times!

Round thrones are a pain.
I'll be in PC later this spring or summer, Garbo. I'll buy you a beer and some oysters, or beers and oystersssss, if you'll show me a fishin' hole or two for wading or nighttime fishing from shore.

Confirm that. Last year I fished a 24 Pathfinder while fishing inshore and most of the places I really like to fish inshore would be wadeable but you need a boat to get to them. Of course your welcome on my boat, I stay on the boat.....well, most of the time. This year I am looking at a 24 Shearwater. You lookin for Trout and Redfish? BTW, I do have a favorite watering hole or two, one of them I have only accessed by boat also.

Garbo, if you live around Pcola and Pcola Beach you probably know a boat Capt. Thorsen of the Chulamar (he works with me). I live in Pace and work downtown Pcola for city fire. We should meet sometime because it sounds like we enjoy the same things in life (as long as you are not a liberal). I have some property i hunt around Elba and love to deep sea fish. I am on deployment in Bahrain until Sept. I missed this whole hunting season and will be back just in time for next season, but will miss Aprils Cobia.
Is it Hunting Season Yet?

I just like fishing for saltwater fish and enjoy wading, where possible. Reds, trout, blues, Spanish if they're running anywhere nearby, whatever.

I don't know that I can repay it, but I do thank you. That's odd, if Thorsen is the same person I used to lease him freezer space in a building in Pensacola. He would buy bait by the pallet or truckload and store it frozen and pick it up as he needed it. Must have saved him a lot of expense. I do know the boat was Chulamar that I leased freezer storage to, just can't remember the name of the gentlemen that I dealt with. Be safe as well as come home safe and when you get back shoot me a message. I live in Orange Beach and fish out of Pensacola often, and we will get together and go sore mouth something...My boat my treat. Stay Safe.

Garbo, I enjoy your posts. I think I saw a post entitled Garbo a few days ago that made light of the fact that you ask a lot of questions, which to be fair, you do. It has apparently been deleted, or it's right in front of me like everything else and I just can't find it. It might have gotten worse after I read it, but it seemed they were just poking a little fun at you. Again, I only read a few responses, so I'm guessing it got personal at some point. I've come to the conclusion that there are some real jackarses on here, some chronic liars, and some internet badarses. However, there seem to be a lot more patriots, conservatives, Christians, friend for life good ole boys on here. You seem to me like you'd fit in that group. I hope you'll continue with your posts. Oh yea, round toilets suck and I'll bet they were invented by the French.

I read the thread when it was only 5-7 post long. The original post was just stating that I asked a lot of questions. I posted an explanation and apologized if I offended anyone, and then I got the phone call about my water meter in Panama City Beach.
While I was driving to Panama City Beach, my oldest son, who lurks this site, called me and told me that I was "catching hell" on here. I never read what the thread turned into as I worked on a bathroom the rest of the day. The next morning I looked for the thread and couldn't find it, so I posted an explanation of why I have done what I have done, as I felt it was necessary. I realize I am a new guy here and I respect anyone and everyone that was here before me and after me for that matter, so I didn't want to rock the boat too much.
I would think this site is much like most others in the high majority of members are very high quality people and then there is a small amount of members that use the site for another reason and probably make it more interesting from time to time. Regardless I hope that I am welcome and make many friends here.
longspur, I think you are right....Round Toilets had to have came from the French.
So that I don't offend anyone else...If you have and like Round Top Toilets, as I am sure someone probably does, by no means do I mean to offend you are Round Top Toilets, I just feel like I am trying to put "everything" into a Gatoraide bottle when I use one, but they may work well for you. Please don't take my statements concerning Round Top Toilets personal as my statements were not meant to be offensive in any way, but simply to explain my own issues with Round Top Toilets.
