Just be lucky you are not in Jefferson County. You would be lookin g a $1000 easy. We had a pin hole leak in a pipe running to a hose faucet for less than 3 days and my next bill was close to $200.

Tell them you had, found and fixed a leak. Some water companies will forgive it the first time if you find it and they dont have to find it for you!

This ^ We had a leak at my grandmothers house one time and called the water department about it. They ended up just averaging the last 6-10 months bills and charged her that.

My hose puts out 7.5 gallons per minute. That's 27,000 gallons.
