Can you imagine, and I'm not sure that I can, HOW STUPID AND SCREWED UP, some kid must be to commit a crime like this when you play for the premier football program in the country? Those kids hit the lottery when they got a football scholarship and just threw it all away. What kind of mindset does someone like that have?

It's a damn shame talent like that is wasted on someone who lacks character and morals.
I'm pretty confident at least two will be removed from the team. The other two, if they stay, will be on eggshells for the remainder of their stay at the University.

I don't follow them that closely, but a friend who does said it's the second offense for one player and Callowa's 2nd/3rd offenses.
I'd give a 18 year old a second chance, but not a 3rd or 4th. One mistake, I'd give them hell and if they want to work to change for the better, I'd probably let them. Mess that up, and you're gone.

I also don't think Saban should wait if they have admitted guilt. If so, they should immediately be kicked off the team, scholarship recinded, and submitted for review to be expelled.
However, they have a process, and are apparently following that process. It's not my process, so it's not my choice as to when they get kicked off the team.

Williams admitted to both assaults and robberies. Hayes admitted he participated in one assault and robbery and watched the other. Like Hayes, Pettway is charged with participating in one assault and robbery and watching the other.

Calloway may have forfeited his Alabama football future as well because this is his second arrest. His first arrest in 2011 was for misdemeanor marijuana possession.
As for Williams, as if knocking two people unconscious while robbing them wasn’t enough to lose your roster spot, he also was arrested Sunday for having a pistol without a license.
No excuse for any of the four to ever play another down at the University. Ever. Period.

Their already gone without the official announcement. The schools not going to allow confessed batterers to remain enrolled and freely walk the halls.
Saban doesn't have to kick them off the team. The school will be taking the decision out of his hands.
