Been with her for six years. I didnt hunt or fish when we first got together. thats were i messed up i suppose. I didnt start the outdoor life until about three years ago. But i love bein outside and enjoying Gods creation, And im not gonna stop anytime soon. even gonna turkey hunt this year, no matter how much flak i catch. I think she will even enjoy it with me, once our kids get older and there not so mother dependent.
And i wish i was jokin about the buck i killed. I stopped and showed it off anyway of course, didnt go over to well at home tho. she called my buddies wife to see if i had stopped. and i told her heck yeah i did. but caught alot of flak over it.
so its not like im totally sackless here. but i do know one thing for sure, there is absolutely no way, under any circumstance, that i could wake up every day and not see my children. could not live with it.
so until there raised and gone i will do what i gotta do. The wife and I actually have a good relationship. we get along great as long as she gets to see me every day and spend time with me. and im not gone all the time hunting and fishing.
but yeah lets get back to the brookwood buck. would like to know the real story myself
Serious question for you IHP. What if one day you were to start traveling for work? How would that effect your relationship? I left Monday morning on business and am still out of town. I fly back in the morning and my buddies are picking me up to go hog hunting with Elkhunter for the weekend. I have a fantastic wife because she is understanding and we are respectful to each other. If she got mad if we didn't see one another every day then I would have been divorced 10 years ago I think what everyone here is trying to tell you is the current makeup of your marriage is not conducive to long term relationships. One day soon you will get tired of being controlled and it will have a huge impact on your kids. Make damn sure you fix the issues now or they will be affected in the future. This is not a assumption, but a fact. Go see a marriage councilor, preacher, etc. You will thank 5 years down the road.

Poachers' wife is going to get on here tonight after handing him the babies and thread-jack all y'alls asses. Mine, too, probably.
Wasn't there a giant buck in question somewhere on this thread?

Sounds like an easy solution....babysitter + take her with you. my wife and I get a long great as long as she doesn't get to see me every day...LOL. I have a great wife who's complaints have been minimal about me turkey hunting and deer hunting almost every weekend of both seasons. But at the end of the day we both know we both need some alone time. It's good for a marriage. Man and woman weren't created to spend every day of their life together.

When the word deer was replaced with the word titty, everything about a deer left this thread. ![thumbup thumbup](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grinning-smiley-003.gif)

she has been another mans problem for the last 15 yrs.
If she's been with him 15 years, maybe she wasn't the problem LOL ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif)
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

Like I said before, nothing new. Trox, I wasn't covering up battle wounds, but I believe if we had met before yesterday, there may have been some. He was pretty irate about not only this site, but others, and friends accusing him of night hunting. Today went well though. We got cut short by his instructor of the class he was in, and I was short for time also, so don't think he was just getting out of it. Tyler seems like a decent guy. I gained some respect for him today, just by offering to tell me his side face to face. His story goes like this: He shot the deer on a Tuesday morning, whatever the date was, but didn't recover the deer until that afternoon. He said by 6pm he was showing him off and taking pics. He offered to show me the pics, but is skeptical about sending them to me, due to the location possibly being on there. That's about all we had time for today, other than him saying there were a few of his "buddies" that were lying out of jealousy. I guess I can believe that somewhat. I let him know that I was still skeptical about it for several reasons but didn't have time to go into all of them today. I also haven't asked him where the deer was hit at, but I'm pretty sure that was a hole in the throat patch in one of the pics. So, the reasons I'm skeptical about this still is this:
1. It's hard for me to believe people can be that jealous about a deer. 2. The pics don't seem to be taken where he was hunting, so why not send them to me?? 3. The deer being shot in the throat and not finding it until that evening. 4. Also, was the deer still alive when he got to it, then he shot it in the throat?? Had to be alive for a while for him to be able to turn that head around like that in the after dark pics. 5. The sweat off "a drink" being between his legs still raises some suspicion. It's hard for me to say something about that though. If I shot and found that deer I probably would have had a celebration beer on the way back to camp also.
Well, its pretty obvious this is going nowhere, so I'm just gonna let it go until something else comes out, if it ever does. There are A LOT of folks on the lookout for not just Tyler, but anyone shooting/hunting on WE property. I know it goes on, and so does everyone else that works there, but notta can be done until someone is caught.
And Burbank, I was convinced by the pic of him on the couch this guy was like 5'2", but he's not. He's an average height guy. Maybe 5'9" or 10. Sure fooled me. I thought he was a little midget myself, and accused him of lil man syndrome at one point, but hell, I ain't to much bigger than he is.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

well, the story continues to change. First it was shot in the evening, then the morning.
He should just come on the site and defend himself if he is so furious. He has probably told so many people different stories he can't remember which one to tell on here. It would only get worse for him if he told the wrong version here.
