I dont believe in snake boots, if I seen a big rattler I just pick that sucker up behind the head, give him a good talkin to and toss em off the trail.

Anybody own the Rocky Waterproof 15" Snake Boot? I see where Cabelas has them on sale in their Turkey catalog for $119. I have a pair, have hunted in them 2 years and they have done great. They are super light feel like running shoes compared to my lacrosse alphaburleys the ones I have are goretex and my feet have stayed dry. I have not tested them on snakes though...

Good to hear. My Lacrosse Strikers are worn out after 8 years so I may get a pair. Thanks for the input.

I just got the new Boa snake boots from Cabelas and they are very nice! Are they comfortable enough for $230?? Yes they are! Very light and comfortable! They did rub a spot on the outside of my ankle but I put a band aid over it and wore them with thick socks a couple days and that took care of the problem.
