Public land is just that PUBLIC. It is for everyone to use. That being said if it is not already being done whoever is over that land needs to balance it's use to try and accommodate everyone such as limit the use of dogs to maybe two alternating days each week during the season. Not a bad idea, t. BUT, as soon as you told the Still-Hunters that they could not hunt while the dog hunters were having their equal share.....the chit would hit the fan!!!! Well, the thing I have learned from running a hunting club is that is impossible to make everyone happy,but it is my responsibility to try and make it fair to everyone that hunts on my property as long as it is legal and does not negatively affect the hunting resources. That is what the state needs to do on all public land. People are always going to complain you just have to learn to sift through all the selfish bs to get to what really needs to be done.
