Hey guys, heading out to bankhead tomorrow and tuesday with a small group, we've been trying to figure out the best spots any tips on where to go would be much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Worried this precipitation may spoil any chances.

What are the rules for hunting Bankhead. Are there only certain times that you can hunt pigs or are the types of weapons limited. I hunt WMA's but they are done with the special pig hunts until August.

Get a Bankhead National Forest map, not the Black Warrior WMA permit map on-line. Then you'll see the boundary for Sipsey Creek Wilderness Area, the boundary for Black Warrior WMA and THEN Bankhead National Forest boundary. The BHNF is larger than the Black Warrior WMA. There's alot of Bankhead National Forest Land outside of the Sipsey Creek and Black Warrior WMA. That is where you can hunt all year round.
