I just bedded a 22-250 Howa a couple weeks back. I just used the dremel to remove the plastic material at the bedding lugs, sprayed the action down with RemOil really good, and used the Quick-Setting JB Weld. Put JB into the area you want to bed, install action and screw it down. Let it sit about 30-min, then remove screws and twist the action a little as you remove it from the stock. It should pop right out - at least it does with a Howa.

Looks good but I would buy a Bell and Carlson Medalist for it. Those tupperware Savage stocks are to flimsy and have a ton of flex.
Keep your booger hooker off the bang switch.
