The same as you would if it was a person. If you feel threatened and it's attacking you, blow it's head off.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

If a dog threatens to attack you when NOT on the owner's property, you can legally shoot the dog.
The law explicitly says that Animal Cruelty Laws do not apply when "Any person who kills a dog or cat found outside of the owned or rented property of the owner or custodian of the dog or cat when the dog or cat threatens immediate physical injury or is causing physical injury to any person, animal, bird, or silvicultural or agricultural industry."
If the dog stays on the owner's property, then you cannot legally do anything about it. Once in the street, it's up to you.

If you don't want to shoot it, thump that phucker right in the melon with your stick. Don't just tap him, I mean rare back and knock the livin hell out him. He'll think twice about you the next time you jog by.

One day I had decided I was going to kick it in the head if it chased me as I rode by. Sure enough, that damn dog came running out, just as I went to stick my leg out to hit it, the damn thing bolted in front of my bike. The last thing I remembered as I was waking up in the middle of the road was flying superman style through the air. Dog never chased me again though

Wasp spray! And a lighter. Made two shepherds that were giving my grandmother a hard time stay on the porch from then on.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

If the dog stays on the owner's property, then you cannot legally do anything about it. Once in the street, it's up to you. In a self defense situation that could vary too. For example,if you go inquire on a Craiglist ad for a 4 wheeler and drive up and are attacked on the property then one isn't going to face charges either. In certain circumstances even being on the owners property the shooting could be justified. Same as if UPS man shows up and bops a dog on the head because it was threatening.

True. Just going by what the law says. Best to err on the side of caution as common sense isn't so common anymore.

I would probably pepper spray him tonight and shoot his ass tomorrow if he doesn't learn.
Or just shoot him.

Pepper spray, wasp spray...with a lighter, amonia...that's all cruel! 9mm jhp...not so cruel. I'm really getting tired of critters having more rights/protection than i do. I got a couple new farms I scout west of florence that got dogs (bad). Really thinking about a pocket 22 or 380 to go with my 9mm (that I don't always have on me).
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Have you talked to the owner or animal control/sheriff dept? I would try that first That approach takes away from their Internet Bad Ass rep, though..... Whatever I did......I would just do it and not put it on the internet. Kinda hard to claim self-defense after discussing it on the internet. Just my $.02!
