My wife is a nurse and that ain't nuthing compared to what she has to put up with.A lot of jobs are bad,that's why it's called work.If you don't like it find something else.If you have an attitude and complain about your job you need to so something else.If a teacher isn't happy about their work it will effect every child.
Now that is a group of people that are under paid for the risk they deal with, and what they " put up with", something teachers do not have to deal with a whole lot. Well I guess they risk getting: cursed at, a paper cut, having to stay late(most likely not required), or maybe getting a sore arse for sitting on it so much. A nurse on the other hand has all those risk and then some, like contracting some kind of disease from taking care of the kids, old folks, middle age folks, drug addicts, gang bangers, and any and everyone ya'll have mentioned, including teachers, and administrators. They don't bitch and whine near as much as some of you folks have, cause ya'll think teachers are Gods gift to earth and deserve 364 days a year off with a million dollar a year salary for what they " put up with" It is official, you are just a dumbass. That was evident on page 1 of this topic. Glad to see that apology was truly heart felt. Kudos once again to my wife who was given a new student yesterday who has been sexually abused by a family friend and taken away from her father because he allowed it to happen. She was dropped off at the door to the office by her new guardian and had no idea how she was supposed to get home. Her IEP was about 2" thick and she is known to educate those around her with her sexually explicit language. My wife is looking forward to day 2. By the way, I really enjoyed having some alone time with my wife last night as we stayed up grading papers till 11:30pm so that she could get to bed at a decent hour. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention buckshack teachers are nurses too. You do know that they are trained in administering certain medications such as insulin and epi pens just in case a student needs immediate medical attention, not to mention assisting with keeping kids on the regular cycle for meds that they need to function. I will leave it at that. I think this thread has about reached its limit and you clearly have no idea what is involved here as evidenced by your own words.
