I cant seem to find birds that are willing to gobble these last few trips. Even my ace in the hole (Lynchburg TN) is not up to par this year. I have seen lots of Jakes, but the big boys are not talking once their feet touch the ground. Driving around, I am still seeing Toms feeding out in the fields alone....

Sounds like they are on fire in your area....Congrats! I was planning to take off a morning or 2 this week to chase them but the weather is looking awfully crudy up here for the rest of week....Guess I'll just have to play it by ear...

We get 3 birds a piece so if it out scores your others make sure you "upgrade" one of your lesser scoring birds....I've only been able to get out once over the past 2 weeks but plan to hunt a several more days before the AL season is over then try my TN spot....Hopefully, I'll be able to find a blind, dumb one or 2!
