Has anyone been hearing very much gobbling the last few days? With all the cold weather and high winds I was wondering what they have been doing. I have not got to go but twice and only heard birds once. I am going to take a few days off and want to use my off days when the birds are doing their thing.

I don't know what that is either. I've got to get one of those Rosetta Stones. Maybe mine are speaking a different language this year.

Very little on the limb here, but I've heard birds daily. I was a part of two kills in the past two days, and those birds gobbled plenty. I think knowing where they're going to be at (or getting close enough to make them interested) is the key to working a bird right now.

No gobbling in my neck of the woods. Got a flock of 20 hens hanging out at the plant and not a single gobbler in the whole bunch.

I sat out this morning because of the cold. Had two gobbling their heads off this evening and came about 100 yards away only to hang up.
