Hey L.T., where you hunting this week? Birds were quiet last weekend up near skyline. Curious to see if the toms up in jackson county are acting right again. Last week they were in winter patterns, the week before they were on fire. I will be hunting 9 days straight starting saturday. I will split time between skyline and lynchbur TN.

1 7/8" and 1 3/4"

It was my best ever. His brother is on my list this year and he is better than this one, but a little bit smarter.

Yep...Hunted Round Top this morning....There were a few gobbling throughout the morning but just a couple times here and there....We thought we were finally on a hot one at 1030 but once we made the hike up the mountain to get on his level he never made another peep....

Yesterday I was in Scottsboro....I have about 250 acres of family/leased land over there....

I hope you're right, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're wrong. Things just ain't kicking yet in our neck of the woods. I got around some hot turkeys on the ground yesterday morning, but then it was like me and L. Thompson were on a totally different piece of property this morning. Spotty and finicky....BAD!

That's discouraging. I hope that this warmer weather today and tomorrow will atleast make it interesting. If not...there is always TN. But reports from my inlaws dont suggest they are exactly on fire either.

Crazy to think that opening weekend up on jacobs mountain, I had birds gobbling until noon. Dang this weather...
